Live Nation Australasia is thrilled to announce that the world’s leading TV mentalist and brain hacker Keith Barry is on his way down under for a whirlwind promotional tour set to get into people’s heads. The dashingly handsome Irishman will commence promotions in Sydney the morning of Friday 15 June, ending in Melbourne Tuesday 19 June.
With recent appearances on ‘Ellen’ and ‘The Late Show’ and his trickery with celebrities such as Bob Geldof, Charlize Theron, Samuel L Jackson, Lindsay Lohan, The Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger and Elijah Wood becoming youtube sensations - Keith has certainly made a name for himself in America, and his popularity continues to soar worldwide.
Keith’s stage shows have enjoyed massive success with his 2011 stage show “8 DEADLY SINS” officially the most successful solo act EVER to play in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre – beating his own 2010 record. His controversial live show “The Asylum” sold more than 83,000 tickets, with 70 sold-out shows in Ireland ranking Keith as Ireland’s most successful entertainer in 2010.
Keith’s five-week residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino was met with rave reviews, resulting in the Las Vegas Review Journal awarding him “Best Magician in Las Vegas”.
Keith has also enjoyed great success on television with his very own TV show “Deception with Keith Barry” airing in the US on the Discovery Channel. Following an unprecedented reaction and huge ratings, the show was picked up for an entire season, which aired worldwide in October 2011.
Keith was further recognised in 2009 when he was awarded the prestigious ‘Merlin Award’, presented to those magicians who have achieved the highest level in their craft both on the national and international stage.
